Everyone said I should do Law and thought I would enjoy it (including my teachers)...how wrong they were.
I don't think many kids realise some effort some courses take and especially teachers, some of them don't know what they are talking about.

41/50 history extension, I was hoping for a mark close to 45, but 41 is just as awesome :D

My mum said that I could do well in Law... reading John Grisham novels and stuff likes this turns me off it
The more i learn about how shit this stuff truly is, the more i want to stay at school.

Even first year uni students doing cadetships tend to run into ridiculous hours (albeit nothing like that level of crazy).
o dam.... Not sure if i even want to do one anymore. I got an interview for a mid tier firm but didn't go ahead with it, i didn't want to sacrifice my first year working full time.

Parents especially, they say not to follow what they did and list all the reasons why you shouldn't, but don't realise that other jobs also have negatives. My dad thinks being some sort of medical specialist is good due to the money, but he forgets the amount of study needed to even be qualified.

Personally it's something I would recommend you go for regardless considering the prospect of getting your foot in the door this early is extremely valuable.

My advice would be to really check out the vibe at each firm and see if it fits with the way YOU want to work.

Thanks man, when you put it like that it does sound more appealing.

What are you planning to do when you finish honours?
