I only wrote notes for half of biology and nothing else and I did fine.

It depends on your overall strategy. I left my writing most of my notes until close to the trials (like 6-7 weeks out) so that the information would be fresh in my mind. I found this worked much better for me then writting them throughout the year.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I'm doing now. I've started writing my business and biology notes and my trials are around 8 weeks away. I'm planning on finishing it all by the end of next week

I know a lot of my friends write notes for cramming and they do just fine.
But I found out in prelim that cramming doesnt work for me as I need consistent studying so I write my notes at the end of each week
