Help would be appreciated:

Simplify:

(square root) ( x squared - a squared) WHEN x= a sec @(theta)

a²sec²@ /sqrt(a²sec² - a²)
= a²sec²@ /sqrt(a²(sec²@-1))
= a²sec²@ /a*sqrt(tan²@)
= a*sec²@/tan@ = a * 1/cos²@ * cos@/sin@ = a*sec@*cosec@ as required
