In the offer email in January they said they'd 'formally' send out an invite via mail.

Has anyone got this? There's an orientation in O-Week but I haven't received any word from TSP.

when I got my offer from usyd I got an email saying I'd get a tsp invite at some point in feb - hasn't come yet. I'm prooobably gonna politely decline though... as cool as it all sounds I'd rather not take on the extra workload..

Alright...

I'm gonna call them tomorrow..see how things are moving along.

And iirc, you can skip out on some of the 'compulsory' units and do some TSP ones (I think).

true I heard that too but for first year I have to do the maths, and bio and chem as prereqs for whatever major I decide to do, and I want to do psyc so if I did TSP it would be on top
I just checked the email I had gotten and it says "I am also thrilled to offer you the opportunity to be a part of our TSP [... ] I will be sending you and official invitation to the TSP in the coming month." (this was from jan 16) so they're probably still sorting it all out and I wouldn't be too worried!
