Tag any questions you have [or obvious errors you've noticed] on the end of this.

**Tutorial Registration - Student Instructions**

Step by Step:

Log on to Tutorial Registration
http://www.uws.edu.au/students/stuadmin/tut_reg
- Use your ID Number and your birthday dd/mm/yy

You should now see your name [yes thats right your WHOLE EMBARASSING NAME, the one you thought you would never see beyond that horrid enrolment form] and course of enrolment at the top of the screen along with various other details on the page.

So you scroll down the page a bit and you pick ou of the options there the "Online Tutorial Registration" link. Ignore your grades and exam link, its blank at the moment.

Scroll down again to see your unit enrolment by session. That means Autumn will be under the heading autumn 2004, and Spring will be under Spring 2004.
The courses there are the ones you are enrolled in and if you look in the right hand column it has written there what school you are under [if you ever wondered] and if you click on it it will tell you which day you need to log on to enrol for this unit.

Click on the Timetable button for the current session, to view the timetable for your units and to allow you to make a selection if the units are open for registration.

Make your selection

If the units are open for registration there will be buttons down the side of the times and a "enter your selection button down the bottom with which you submit your choices with.

Down the right side there will be a 'Places left' count, as to how many places are left in that class/tute/lec. Once it is full you will not be allowed to choose it.

You can change your choices 5 times, so don't worry about making a mistake. If you take ur time and prepare you'll have no problems.

After you have gone through each unit and picked the required amount of classes a new page will be displayed giving you information about your submission.
Note: Some units only have a Tutorial and lecture. Some have Practicals, tutes and lecs, some are only workshops/classes. There will be instructions there from the head of the course to tell you how many you need to pick.

Print your confirmation
It is a good idea to print proof of your successful registration. This can be done by either:

Printing the confirmation page that appears after you have submitted your selection, or...
When you return to the selection page, your selections will be highlighted. You can print this page.

Most ppl dont do it, but it is a good idea, that way you have an on hand record of what you are enrolled in, what times you have and where you have to be.
Remember though if you dont print it out, WRITE IT DOWN. You will need it!!!!

Log out, torture over.. for this semester.
