hey guys
i got 34psi running on mine, it makes em look much better but the car rides like shit at 80+ km/h (17" whees). thats normal isnt it? sometimes i drive on highways a bit, so i should have them at like 28-30psi, but the wheels seem so flat... in another car at 36psi, it runs so smooth (18" wheels)
so what do u use and how does it run?

Depends on the tyres and wheels as you have mentioned. Also the car and its weight, etc. The plaque on the inside of the door should tell you the recommended pressure for an even balance between ride quality and fuel efficiency. Increase the pressure slightly to sacrifice ride quality for better efficiency, or vice versa. Whatever you do make sure you don't over/under inflate them to the point that you start to get uneven tyre wear.

Theres no real way to tell what you prefer until you have tried a range of pressures. Personally I prefer mine a little above the maniufacturers recommendations, but everyone is different.

nah they arent stockies so the recommendation on the car is wrong, plus i didnt even read it  It just shocked me that the ride quality changed so much from 32 to 34psi. the car is 4 cruising but its worse than riding in an evo, which is absolute crap! :p
i jsut read my original post, whees, wat a funny word, lol

holy FUCK @ 42. The only time i ever inflated anything so much was when i put my bike up to 60, which seriously was just for lulz. 36 is mad on the beetle, although i am absolutely positive theyr running less. :(

My stock 16" tyres are inflated to 30-32.

Which is what's recommended.. according to the sticker on the door..

Are you retarded?

1. Find owners manual
2. Find recommended tyre pressure
3. Pressurize tyres
