So I was applying to UNSW law w a 97.45 atar + 77 lat and an assumed 3 bonus points from the AAA or academic achievement award, I literally do not understand how I didn’t make it I got a random offer to my 4th preference instead 🫥

do u believe we can get offers round 2? jan 11 and jan 24? i also applied to unsw law with a 92 atar + 3 AAA + EAS but i didnt get in? even though i had 3 categories under EAS though i had gotten in my 4th preference, this was the most competitive round so maybe more offers are given out later hopefully? do we accept current offers as told to do so and just not enrol?

Try again. But also might depend on EAS severity too, to boost ur application. I’m not sure what the 3AAAs do

im pretty sure its like bonus points for duxing ur school- i just checked my uac application and figured that i didnt press save for my lat number… do you think thats the reason? my lat and atar is literally fine

yeah bro its honestly soo cooked. I read through threads ages ago and was shocked to see some people with high 90s atar didnt get accepted. You guys can always get in with another degree and do the Internal Program Transfer (IPT) to get in 2nd yr.

bro and even with gateway its so competitive to get into law. literally nobody at my school or the people I talked to at schools in my area got in... even the girls with only 1-2 Bs in their report and ALL As its so weird

I mean all u can do is try again if it’s the uni u want . It might depend on when u submitted ur EAS too. If u did it late, it might not be eligible for 23rd Dec but Jan round 1 onwards instead.

Also like based on the article posted earlier, UTS law min was ~98 so UNSW might be more. So there’s a chance maybe ur EAS points + AAA wasn’t enough to boost ur selection rank. Idk it sucks, super competitive this yr
