Well it depends, some people get really high UAI's but still can't get into the courses that they wish. The University will look at your record and judge your acceptance in your chosen course by looking at your participation at your school/community etc and your UAI mark. At least, that's what my Year Adviser keeps telling me.

You might. The UAI cut-off is the lowest accepted UAI from the previous year. If you check ealier UAIs (ie pre-2006), you can usually get a feel for how the cut-off is going to change for this year. If it's increasing, chances are it will keep going; if it's decreasing, chances are it's probaby going to be stable (the only reason why courses have big decreases is a drop in popularity or demand); and if it's fairly stable it could go either way.

it would be alot better to tell us what course is it
One can only assume it's some kind of legal-ese degree a that's what the user's profile says their future interests are.

And if it is a legal course, forget about it. CHances are the UAI is going to keep rising.

yeah its a B Commerce/Laws.....I checked the cut offs for the past two years, and 2005 the cut off was high but last year it was only 90.55. Thats why I'm unsure.

Check the 2005 cut-off if you can find it; you'll get a better idea of wht might happen.
