hi

uai estimate please? . i've gotten one from our careers advisor at school (approx 95), but everyone tells me he's really shoddy...is a 98 or above possible?

School: Sydney Girls High

Subjects (All raw marks, except maths, which is scaled [I don't know the raw marks for maths, but the ranks remain the same]) :
Eng Adv: Trial mark: 66/100
Trial rank: 124/159 (~cringe~)
Total mark: 72/100
Total rank: 111/159

Eng Ext1: Trial mark: 37/50
Trial rank: 65/112
Total mark: 38/50
Total rank: 59/112

Maths Ext1: Trial mark: 85/100
Trial rank: 50/62 (just 4U people)
Total mark: 83/100
Total rank: 45/108

Maths Ext2: Trial mark: 83/100
Trial rank: 24/62
Total mark: 77/100
Total rank: 28/62

Chem: Trial mark: 87/100
Trial rank: 12/66
Total mark: 86/100
Total rank: 10/66

Biol: Trial mark: 92/100
Trial rank: 1/22
Total mark: 85/100
Total rank: 5/22

Sorry if there's any extra info, but i wasn't sure of what to include/exclude, so i just put it all in. Hope you can help (if you can't, that's cool too)

Just a tad of an improvement in:

English Advanced (one or two marks)
Biology

Otherwise you're set.

rank wise i mean - also...if i get a band 6 in every subject except advanced english (i'm aiming for a mid band 5), what uai would i be looking at, do ya think?

AND (i've looked in other threads and found that my last question was made redundant) what're you people doing HERE, answering OTHER people's uai estimates when the hsc starts in 6 (5??) days?! lol!

I think you should boost Biology by a little bit (I don't mean give it another 200% effort)

Maybe 3-4 more marks couldn't hurt bio, as that is one of the weaker scaling subjects on your list.

k thanks . my teacher thinks i'll kill bio (and i don't even think she was saying that to be nice! ). i stuffed up the 1st and 3rd asst, but i rocked the 2nd and 4th . thanks again for all your help, it's a load off my back .

no problem

my teacher thinks i'll kill ipt (my best 'raw mark'/assessment mark), but it's definately not one of the 'best scaling' subjects by any means.

i lost a few marks here and there, but overall ended up with a nice band 6.

again, sure, not a problem (about the help/advice)

i'll have to shower before i study (which is late at night, 12 "AM" -that was for ragerunner )

One unit of your english won't count as it stands

Improve your 3 unit maths and 99 would be within your reach
