Could someone please give me a ballpark figure of a UAI.

Ill put in all semi-relevant information but I understand that it might not be too easy.

Subject___Half Year Mark____Exam Rank____Assesment Rank___Approx Half Year Mark of 2nd/1st

Maths______94%___1/37___1/37___90%
Maths Ext 1_76%____1/10___1/10___48%
Physics____79%____2/14____1/14___79%(Beat me by 1/2 mark)
Eng Studies_83%___1/7____1/7____56%
English (Adv)_82%___2/43___3/43__90%.
Chemistry___84%___1/23____1/23__68%

I did very little study for my half yearlies (something which I have been and plan to continue on working on). My school will never ever get within sight of top 120.

Both my chemistry and physics teacher said my mark wasnt up to my usual standard, and my maths ext average is around 85% (including the halfyearly result).

Thanks in advance.

You have to potential to still attain 99+. Which actually shouldn't be too hard if you try hard enough.

At the moment I'd say 96ish.

NERD.

Anyway you have a HUGE advantage over your competition. Get you English up and top your school. If you're top of the ranks for all subjects by the end of the school assessment, then you're effectively exempt from any form of scaling that will come as a result of the poor efforts of your classmates. I.e. if you can work your butt off and get 93 - 95 in every subject as an HSC exam mark (Which is highly possible, you're not a dumbass), you can get yourself into combined law.

Remember, 3 units of that stuff is just repetitive practice. I.e. maths.

But his school will never get in sight of top 120.... That is a factor that must be considered....

84% raw, isn't that great for chem, certainly not enough for 92-93. same with physics and maths ext1.

School's got jack all to do with it. You top your school, it doesn't matter if they're second last in the state.

Xayma, you seem to know IF you do the work you can attain ~99. Get off your fucking arse and do some work, or I'll slap you down like the little bitch you are. ;)

At this rate (based on CURRENT marks), ~96-98

remember though, we haven't taken into account the difficulty of his exams. even though a school isn't in the top 120, doesn't mean they can't set hard exams.

in 2002, the dux of my school got 99.75 and i think we were ranked around 90-100/120 (somewhere around the lower one third anyway)

Sorry, I missinterpreted your chart.

Chemistry___84%___1/23____1/23__68%

so that meant you for raw 84/100 and the person who cam second got 68/100?

If so, that isn't too bad.

84 is still a little low, but it might have been a hard test. You have the potential to get 98. But I wouldn't say 99+, dispite your ranks.
