Woah nice stuff. The UAC site hasn't even put these up yet. How did you get these?

I AM A STATISTICAL ANOMALY!

You may have noticed that one of the distinction courses shown, Cosmology, has a 100% rate for doing more than 10 units. This is because the distinction courses cannot be included in the 10 units for HSC eligibility.

You may also notice, that only 51/52 students from Philosophy did more than 10 units. I was the 52nd. Yey!

It happens to be because I am in Year 11, and will fulfil HSC requirements next year. I was, however, eligible for a UAI this year with 10 units (distinction courses ARE included in UAI calculations).

With table A2 - the columns and rows show HSC marks VS scaled marks for different percentiles (place in the state). The values are out of 50 (50 marks per unit) and usually the lower your percentile (the worse you go), the worse you are scaled down (or up, as occasionally the case may be...see maths 3 unit)

Hope it helps.

Yeah, increased competition is a bitch, isn't it? My prediction is it'll only get worse unless they CHANGE THE SYLLABUS NOW...bloddy conservative BOShit.

Next years english exams might be a bit different because its "Journeys" now instead of "Change", but fundamentally its all the same really. They are still using most of the same texts
