Whats going to happen to UAIseeker now?

I thought you couldn't host a UAI predicting thing for free on
boredofstudies.org since it became too popular?

How come there isn't a reverse for sams?

i'm just wondering how does the accuracy compare to JUAIseek?

for my UAI

real: 98.3
JUAI: 98.25
SAMs: 98.4 :p

JUAIseek still has the advantage of being able to be used while
not connected to the internet. This was the whole reason I
made it.

i like SAM's more better, this is an unbias opinion either, but it's truly a well designed predictor, and provides a thorough means of statistics outputed for the user, and the design is intuitive and friendly, Laz put alot of work into this, and i believe it's about the best predictor, and i give it a 10/10.

That was true throughout 2003 - we are now attempting to make alternative arrangements for revenue, without charging students. However, it will mean that we have to foot the bill ourselves for a few months.

I'm not entirely comfortable with the way the other reverse procedures have been implemented, and I haven't yet had time to revamp them. I decided that I wanted SAM to be a premium service, and hence it won't include anything that isn't both methodologically sound and completely actualised.

Actually, it was just me. :p Your tool will always have advantages over ours. I have no plans (and no desire) to write another offline calculator - I need to be able to tweak it at my own leisure. :) And because of that we can never implement anything like your slider bars, which I'm still very fond of... mmm... but compromises have to be made. *sighs wistfully*

i havent tried the others, but this one is pretty good! i like the fact it doesn't have to be downloaded, however of course the downside is you always have to be connected to the net

SAM wins, a lot more friendly, and for my UAI, more accurate than JUAI...

the advantage of having it online is the actual program can be updated regularly without having u guys have to go and download and unzip it and install the java framework to use it.

lol, good point. ;)

I like SAM's statistics and GUI, but I like JUAI's simplicity. I'd probably use both.

I'm very sure applications do generate alot of bugs here and there, and you wouldn't wanna continuously release a minor updated build, having it online is the best way for it to be updated instead of having users re-download etc...

one of the reasons i didn't download JUAI is because there were so many versions, i didn't know which one to touch. the other reason is that i don't like downloading programs and having them sit on my computer and only touch them once or twice.

Maybe you could implement a "Check for updates" feature in your program? With that, if you ever thought of a new feature you wanted to add, or discover a bug that needs fixing, the user doesn't need to download an entirely new program? :)
