Didn't you get three UMAT (scaled) scores on you results slip?

yes you get 3 scores for each of the the 3 sections. But my point is that the scores are percentile ranks. It shows how you performed relative to other UMAT candidates.

No, you get both percentile rankings and actual scores, ie. 6 "scores".

Well for the 3rd section, i was sure i only missed 4 answers out of 23? And for looking for shapes, if you spot the figure, u know u're right. And i got 60something scaled

i dun think it's scaled out of 100 - unless it's scaled very weirdly...

yeah, I missed 2 and got 70. maybe it's 'scaled' out of 80? Though why they would do that is beyond me.

When I got my results back I never got 6 scores? I only got 3.

Anyway, I stick by what I said earlier. UMAT is an additional money making scheme for ACER and the universities. It is annoying for people like me who aren't good at multiple choice questions, to have a gay exam like this that is weighted as heavily as the UAI you receive.

Oh well, if I want to do medicine I could always get around it through the back door.

hmm so when u say average of 3 marks, u mean average of the scaled percentiles?..... cos then my average is like 70.... of them... hmm.....

i thought my UMAT must've been shit, but i think my school gave me a crappy estimate

wow, i've barely heard of anyone who did well in both the first section n the last .. usually it was one or the other.
