I really don't get this thread. All (most) of these films are considered great by everyone who watches them, so how are they underrated?

Maybe not so much "underrated", as overshadowed by all the garbage popcorn flicks choking up mainstream cinema

Bounce, with Gwyneth Paltrow and Ben Affleck wasn't really a hit movie, but I saw it yesterday and I thought it was a good movie. An interesting storyline.

I thought that The Cell with JLo was a great visual feast with a stimulating plot that was not apraised to the standard of its screen-play! I loved the visuals and the idea of a dream-reality.. hmmm quite camp really! hehe.. Also I loved the movie X-men 2 but i dont know if it was popular. ???
I am going to Buenos Aires in about 5 more hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vanilla Sky was on the UK's top 10 Worst Movies List, but i'm not sure if I agree. It was a bit confusing, but I thought it wasn't a bad movie.

Titanic was number 1 :D

Memento was by far, the best movie I've ever seen.

I reckon the Sum of Us was pretty damn good too.

Romper Stomper, but that did get a bit of publicity. It was still one fucking best movies ever.

Memento is another one that I would list as underseen rather than underrated. It was too unconventional for the mainstream.
That being said, it's a great movie

Yeah, I'd agree with that. It was generally underseen.

It was unconventional, but bloody genuis at the same time. One of the few movies that genuinlly had so many twists that you had no idea what was gonna happen, or how it was going to end.
