Richard is great.

Let me know what tutorial class you are in so I can check if my friend will be your tutor ...

Normally they only consider 3rd yr+ students, but he is really good at programming (he got 99 in COMP1711 from memory)

What's the average really? talking about computer programming freaks, I know this guy who knows c++, haskell and lisp, and apparently he is the one who won the programming competition, I reckon he's gonna get 99.. scary :p

i was going to the advanced one but chose 1011, not exactly experienced with programming, but if it gets too slow i might move up and see how it goes

so you didn't fall prey to the "all students should start off doing 1711" line ;)

I can't wait for the computing to start, Richard is even better than I was led to believe :D

And I would have to nominate MATH 1081 as the worst, is it too late to change lecturers?

1081 changes lecturers half way through the course for the second half of the content. Who do you have now?

Dr Jie Du, I reckon he's okay, just a bit hard to understand, and the fact that the maths he's teaching is confusing makes it worse.. (sets is the subset of the set :confused:)

Well I am surrounded by the winner of the programming comp (for our age) and this guy, it's rather daunting ...

myAdd :: Int
myAdd 3 + 2

From my memory that is correct Haskell?
