so, for example,
- damn i got shanghaied by that chick (as in duped, misled, led on)
- my wages got shanghaied by my gf (as in stolen, taken away)
- that chick shanghaied squishy's lawbook (as in took away, with force and/or seduction etc)

you've been in uni longer than i. surely you've have some interesting old-timer wisdom to tell us young'uns (like what girls to avoid, where to get cheap food, how to stop procrastinating, shortcuts to studying law etc).

i cant do that, ive been to the 'study' areas of the library, and i sit there for X long and cant do anything, i need a bit of noise and movement and stuff.

You can get in if you're not UTS though. Just register, hand in some photo ID and they give you a day card.
