i think the gap between high school and uni is pretty big, the environment is different and it's amazing how much things change between HS and uni :| the relationships that i know of, where the guy was in yr12, girl in yr10/11, and then the guy moves onto uni... most of them haven't lasted.

not that it can't work, of course...

my friend's in 3rd year this year, and her boyfriend is in year 11
they've been together for quite a while...

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. The only thing is school takes up a lot of time so if your going out with a highschool student you probably won't see them as much as if you are going out with someone from uni.

well i'm still in high school and i've done it. i think it can work although sometimes the lifestyle is just so different it does feel weird. i guess it depends.

i dated a uni student when i was in high school....it didn't work out, but not because he was at uni, but because he was a wanker. lol

it can work. But i think clashes would often occur...like one being about to go out more and one being allowed into clubs, etc,

i dont think its an age thing, because personally you see high school girls dating guys who have finished school and are working and the nature of school and work are both similar.

This is more two very different lifestyles. how does it effect the relationship
