Would anyone that has done the following units of study this year mind uploading the Unit of Study Outlines:


- ACCT3014 Auditing and Assurance

- FINC3015 Financial Valuation: Case Study Approach

- FINC3017 Investments and Portfolio Management

I know that audit did, but im not to sure about that financial valuation one. The lecturer 'strongly recommended' that we do it - so im guessing its a new elective next semester and they want as many students to trial it. They changed it so that all the good electives (mergers, trading and dealing, derivatives etc) are only taught in semester 2 :mad1: .

What was the honours preparation unit like in terms of content, difficulty and relevance? (I want to do honours if i can manage a distinction average, did not do the honours preparation unit this semester, and was told that they are not even prerequisites to doing honours.)

Also do you know if the preparation units can count as credit points towards a finance major?

edit: yea you are right... but just plan your degree well...

it can get awfully nasty if you didn't
