Hi

For electrical engineering, are double degrees worth it? Like comparing the EE / comp sci double degree to regular EE, does the double degree actually add more employability, and if so is it worth it ? Considering the nature of comp sci.

:)

If you are only concerned about employability the main concern would be getting an internship. I am not that familiar with electrical engineering however I would expect employment prospect to be good.

Perhaps you could delve into embedded systems (intersection of computer science / electronics).

Electrical engineering centers around physical hardware and components. My guess is that it will be less effected by AI than software.
Also EE requires dedicated study which you should not underestimate.
My recommendation is : start with EE , later you will find out where your actual interest is. You can do MS or further studies after BSc.

You are right if Nvidia is the only company that you want to work for. Otherwise there are plenty of opportunities for the normal graduates. Just check Seek or Indeed for the job advertisements.
