Unless there's a mental disorder related to sexual performance, in which case "performance enhancers" are prescribed as an initial part of the long-term treatment of the overall disorder. :D
tell that to the repats claiming it on the RPBS... they're not too interested in the rest of the treatment, I can assure you of that.

The tablet is enough for them.

Yes, they are based on UMAT results. I would guess that only a small consideration is given to UAI predictions anyway as they are just that, only predictions.

I MADE ITT!!!!! :D

Dear Applicant,

The Faculty of Medicine is pleased to offer you an interview in the selection process for Medicine at UNSW in 2004. The interviews are being held from 29 September to 3 October 2003 inclusive. Please read the following information carefully. You may wish to print it out for easier
reference. We are also sending you a printed version of this email in the
post.

BOOKING YOUR INTERVIEW TIME

You need to book yourself into a suitable interview time from our online
interview booking website:
http://notes.med.unsw.edu.au/prospectiveinterviews.nsf/welcome

Your Registration of Interest number and this email address you have given us for correspondence are required for access to the interview bookings website. If you are unsure of your Registration of Interest number, please call me or email me, giving me your full name, address and date of birth. Please note that your Registration of Interest number will also be printed on the address label at the top of your mailed letter. Do not select an interview time until you are certain that you will be able to attend at
that time. You need to arrive 15 minutes earlier than the allocated
interview time, for registration purposes. If you no longer wish to sit an interview, please advise us by email as soon as possible, so that we can offer the interview place to another applicant.

LOCATION OF THE INTERVIEWS

3rd Floor
Mathews Building (Upper Campus)
High Street or Botany Street entrance
Randwick
University of New South Wales

HOW TO GET TO THE INTERVIEW

Directions:
Access is via High Street or Botany Street, Randwick depending on your method of transport.

High Street Access
From Gate 9 in High Street, walk straight down Chancellery Walk. Keep walking past the Clancy Auditorium and the Mathews arcade on your right and you will see a building on your right with a sign marked Mathews Building
F23. There is a small flight of steps which brings you up to the
Pavilions Caf in front of the main entrance to the Mathews Building. When you enter the foyer of the building you are on the second floor. Take the lift or the stairs to the third floor.

Botany Street Access
If you are arriving by car and you are parking in the UNSW parking station, you need to enter at Gate 11 in Botany Street and drive, keeping to the left, to the car park. Pay parking is available on the upper levels of the car park ($4.00 for five hours). As you walk out of the car park, you will see the back of the Mathews Building (the grey building) in front of you. Walk straight ahead down Chancellery Walk and you will see a small flight of stairs to your left which brings you up to the Pavilions Caf in front of the main entrance to the Mathews Building. When you enter the foyer of the building you are on the second floor. Take the lift or the stairs to the third floor.

Airport:
You may wish to take a taxi from the airport as it takes about 20 minutes out of peak time. However, there are airport buses to UNSW campus (route
400 bus). Consult the following website for more information:
http://www.131500.com.au or Tel. 131500.

Car/taxi entrance:
If you are arriving by car or taxi, use Gate 11 in Botany Street. Follow the instructions detailed above for the Botany Street access.

Bus/train:
A number of local bus routes serve the UNSW Kensington campus. If you are catching the Uni express bus (Bus number 891) from Central Railway station in Eddy Ave, you will need to get off at the stop at the corner of High Street and Botany Street. This stop is at the top of the hill. Cross the road at the traffic lights and walk back down High Street to Gate 9. Follow the instructions detailed above for the High Street access. However, please note that there is a reduced 891 service during the interview week as it is the session break. (I understand that the 891 will not run after 10.00am each morning). Other bus routes will drop you on Anzac Parade at the lower end of the campus (allow 10 15 minutes to walk up to the upper campus) or in Belmore Road, Randwick (again allow 10-15 minutes walk down High Street to the UNSW).

For up to date information about buses that run during this week, please consult the following website: http://www.131500.com.au or Tel. 131500.

Map:
A map of the interview location can be viewed online:

http://www.unsw.edu.au/maps/kensington.html.

Click on Upper Campus for a close up of the area where the interviews will be held.

It is probably wise to carry the map with you if you are not familiar with UNSW or with Randwick.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE INTERVIEW SESSION

The interview content:
You can expect the interview to be an extension of the application form/CV which you wrote out and sent to us. We already know that you are more than academically capable, and therefore we need to know more about you as a
person. The interviewers will have a copy of your application form/CV in
front of them and will use this information to ask you further questions. They will not ask you scenario-based or hypothetical type questions. It is important that you relax about the interview.

The duration:
The duration will be between 40 and 50 minutes. You will register 15 minutes before the interview, and then wait approximately 15 minutes after the interview to allow the interviewers time to deliberate. Once they have reached a consensus, you will be able to leave.

The interviewers:
There will be two interviewers drawn from academic staff, medical
practitioners and community representatives. They have been carefully
chosen and are experienced at interviewing, and will therefore help you to feel relaxed.

What to wear:
It is not necessary to wear a suit and tie, or dress-suit. Wear what makes you feel comfortable. You will not be judged on what you wear.

What to bring:
You must bring some sort of formal photo identification, such as your passport, your drivers or learner's licence, or a letter from the school
with your photo on it. It is not necessary to bring certificates, awards,
or any other documents.

Who to bring:
Once you are ready to register, you will be leaving your friends/family behind, however, they are more than welcome to get a map of UNSW from us to tour the campus. They will then meet you again once the interviewers have reached their consensus.

ACCOMMODATION

If you need temporary accommodation nearby, you can find an excellent list
of affordable and pleasant accommodation at:
http://www.housing.unsw.edu.au/tempacc.htm. If you cannot find
accommodation in Randwick, I recommend that you book accommodation in nearby suburbs nearby such as Kensington or Coogee. Bondi is a little far, but there are many buses that go past UNSW from there. Consult the transport website for more information: http://www.131500.com.au or Tel. 131500, and plan your trip so that you do not arrive late and flustered.

CONTACT DETAILS

If you have any other queries, please contact me on 02 9385 1317.

If you are running late for the interview or need to contact us urgently, please ring us on 0414 385 321. Please note that this number is to used
