So yeah I'm doing Adv. Sci/Comm at UNSW (as mentioned in sig).
So yeah I have my reasons for wanting to transfer;
1. The travel is killing me. USYD is 30 min closer each way for me.
2. Recently discovered that majoring in neuro at UNSW is 5.5years for my structure, and whilst I know summer semesters are available, that extra half a year would be more manageable at USYD.
So thus the questions.
1. Can I apply to transfer to USYD in sem2, or do I have to wait until next year? My ATAR was 94.1 and the cutoff at usyd was 95.3 for sci/comm. Also, if possible to apply for sem2, will they look at the 24UOC I have, or only go off ATAR still?
2. Am I correct in assuming I'm looking at a distinction avg to transfer? Any ideas what I should realistically be needing as a min for the transfer?
