if you're at UTS you'd better hurry up... the deadline for upfront payments for semester one is 26th March (this friday). Other uni's will have varying dates but the 'census date' (the date after which, if you have made no payments whatsoever, you will accumulate a deferred HECS debt) is the 31st March.

Usyd scared the shit outta me today
I recieved an email which said 'we have not recieved a hecs from from you, if you do not supply it to us by 24th march we will transfer you to full fee paying' WTF

Fortunately I was able to sort it out over the phone. Didn't take long for me to experience the first admin stuffup in uni...
