MY UAI: 90.45

But because I'm a local I get 4 extra points so its actually 88.9! I want to do Communications with it as the 'combined' part!!

i feel so sorry for you guys stewing. I didn't have that problem. I cleared my course by about 20 pts last yr so didn't have to stress :S

GOOD LUCK and I hope you all get into what you desire. Last year a heap of cut-offs fell. Hopefully they'll do it again *fingers crossed*

I want to do B Media in Writing at Macquaire...thats 85.5.

I think I am safe. My friends think I am wasting my UAI points, but I AM NOT DOING LAW under any circumstances.

My UAI = 99.7
Desired course = UNSW Combined Law [either Arts/Law or International Studies/Law], 99.15 or USyd Arts/Law at 99.6. Still not sure which one I want yet, but at least I have the choice!

Medical Science is only 85 @ UNSW and you have a decent chance of getting into there.

Why would you be wasting your UAI points? Just because a course has a UAI cut-ff doesn't mean it'll necessarily get you anywhere in life. Good on you for your preference. :)

Wow! Me too! (as in, USYD Pharmacy is my desired course). It's my first 'real' choice, but my third preference--the other two have cutoffs just way above my real UAI. My UAI was 96.95.

i am in the same situation as you! i put communication and law combined as my first preference and then communications as second at newcastle uni. my UAI was 89.65 so i won't be able to get in because the 4 points don't count!!!

THE INJUSTICE! - however i wasn't sure that i wanted to spend 5 yrs at uni.
