FINS1612 has a co requiste of ECON1101 and ECON1202 - check whether you do these two subjects as well.

If you do, try and enrol in these two before in FINS1612.

Also, you cant enrol in any actuarial subjects in semester 1 - you have to do the 3 core commerce subjects - as mentioned by sunny, except you have to enrol in MATH1151 instead of ECON1202

basically this is what u should enrol in, in this order:
ACCT1501
ECON1101
MATH1151
FINS1612

hmm...i did choose the 3 core subjects as you've told me to do, but for FINS1612 it still says requirments not met for class, students cannot be enrolled.......so what should i do now?????

hmm the problem is that FINS1612 has co-requisites of ECON1101 and ECON1202, but since you dont do ECON1202, theres the problem

heres what I suggest - drop MATH1151 and enrol in ECON1202, then enrol in FINS1612, then drop ECON1202 and re-enrol in MATH1151 and see if that makes a difference
If not, then contact the Faculty and complaiN!

you have to go to the fce faculty and fill out a sheet of paper requesting that they manually override the system and enrol you in FINS1612. the problem is that the system doesnt recognise that MATH1151 fulfills the prerequisite for FINS1612 in the same way that ECON1202 does...

so if your overseas i guess you'll have to email them or call them and fill out the form when you get back or something..?
