Urgent Help !! (1 Viewer)

hello people,

I just formatted my pc today...now to download Windows Live Messenger , and nokia n series pc suite , it says i need to have windows xp service pack 2. I went to download windows xp service pack 2 from the net , however it just seems to be stuck on one page displaying " Checking updates for your computer"....doesnt seem to move further ...and so neither can i download Service Pack 2 nor the other things:burn:

If some one could help me solve this problem , it would be AWESOME

Well to get sp2 im pretty sure you need a genuine copy of windows. I presume you do lol, but if you cant download sp2 from microsoft try another site, like try googling it.

Does your system lockup as well? If so, you might have an svchost problem.

If your system doesn't lockup, try it anyway.
