Heya, i was wondering if it was possible to write about my guitar in some way or form in the Motors and Generators Section of the exam

The guitar has magnetic pickups, which when strings vibrate they move in relation to the magnets in the pickups, the pickups then convert that vibration into a series of electrical impulses that create the notes which go to the amplifier.

Sorry if this isnt very clear, i dunno, ever since doing physics i was able to understand how it works, but im not sure what part of the Motors and Generators course this covers.

Thanks in Advance

Ok, I haven't read up on how guitar pickups actually work but there is an induction process present. I'm not sure ifts produce an induced current that is being detected or producing a back emf and the resultant drop in current is measured.

If they had an open ended question like in Q20 2005, then yes you could refer to it as an induction process that you researched but you still have to answer the rest of the question.
