I'm tempted to use one of my related texts for both the AOS (belonging) and Mod. C, History and Memory (representation and texts). Its Gordon Bennets, 'The Outsider'.

What do you think? I guess it won't really matter for the HSC, as each paper is marked by different markers. Not sure if I should do it in my trials though..

I've had a similar quandry, although even more extreme. I have two texts (Orwell's 1984 and Alan Moore's Watchmen- graphic novel not movie) that I am currently using for Belonging, History and Memory AND Science Fiction in extension 1. I have confirmed with multiple teachers that this is not an issue. The common line is "As long as its done well, it doesn't matter". So I wholeheartedly say: Go ahead!

It's not an issue, especially not in the HSC. Different papers. The chances of the same teacher marking both papers is slim. To say nothing of the fact that if they do get both papers, they're not gonna be able to draw any correllation between the two.
