To the Mods: If this thread is in the wrong place, I'm sorry. Please forgive?
OK, so I'm in Yr 12, and in keeping my options open, I'm thinking about applying for USYD for next year. Am looking at doing B.Education (English) / B.Arts (Psychology, maybe something else English-based, who knows?). The trouble is - I live 2 hours north of Sydney, and my closest University is Newcastle - and I reeeeally don't wanna go there!! I suppose commuting is an option, but that could be quite tedious....
I guess what I'm asking is - what's USYD like? Any first-years living either on- or off-campus care to share your experiences? Any information that you guys can offer would be greatly appreciated. Accommodation? Financial ad? Part-time job? Independence?
Thnx in advance.
