Oh yeah, I know some dumb f*ck is gonna ask.. but can someone explain to those who'll ask why they haven't received an offer from UTS, even though they have UTS courses on their preferences.

Last years cut-off was 92.30. I only got 86.35 and was also accepted for EAS. So either the cut-off decreased significantly or something isn't right.

I got into B Business @ Kuring-gai with 86.90, so that's at least a 0.15 decrease from last year.

the application number is our student number with or without a 1 in front, right?

if that's the case, that means I didn't get into UTS (3rd & 4th preferences which had a much lower UAI cutoff), which means I probably got into one of my first 2 preferences

the cuttoff changes each year.....if the course is not as popular this yr as it was last yr then the UAI cutoff will decrease and sometimes they accept ppl who r slightly below the cuttoff.......

wah i got into umm civil engineering ... my uai was 77.7 ... but it says on the site that the cut of is 79.15

so the cut off was 79.15 for 2005 and u got in? (with no EAS or whatever)
