UTS to UNSW (1 Viewer)

I got a provisional offer to UTS engineering, however I really want go UNSW. I was thinking to go UTS if I don't meet the ATAR requirement for UNSW, and if this does happen, is there any way I could transfer to UNSW?

First of all, you can always just transfer externally after one year. UNSW will accept your ATAR or your transcript, whichever one is better.

But second of all, you've got until the 17th of November to apply for the UNSW Portfolio Entry Scheme. I highly recommend doing this, as if I remember correctly, you'll only need an ATAR of 83 to get into UNSW engineering. All you have to do is record a video demonstrating a passion for engineering, and you'll get a conditional offer. That way, you won't have to transfer from UTS to UNSW if you get a lower-than-expected ATAR.

Yes!! Im already in the midst of applying. However they raised their minimum ATAR requirement to 85

why do people even go to uts at all when there are alternative relevant courses at unsw, where u can just do an ipt instead?

I failed this garbage scheme completely and got in through the normal atar round instead even tho selection rank this year was 95
