I haven't heard anything about getting my new sticker for 2010.

According to: UTS: Travel concession eligibility on state transport, Student admin


2010 Travel Concession for continuing students

If you are a continuing student please check your UTS email during January 2010 for important information regarding registering for, and collecting your 2010 Travel Concession.
2010 Travel Concessions are not available from the UTS Student Centres.

like i said, the UTS website says we will be contacted in january....january has come and gone

Just wait - it arrived on the 10th Feb last year so expect the email to arrive around that time this year. Besides, it doesn't expire until the start of March.

so basically you can't work part time AND get a concession?

So this year's concession is a bit different is it?

I remember previous years being allowed to work

Doesn't matter if you're working or not. Just apply for one and make sure you're enrolled for full time semesters. They can't really check if you're working or not.

I don't think it is different this year...we just noticed this year.
