I was talking to some guy at the law stand, and he said if you have to transfer you can take intro to law even if u are currently doing another degree so u can transfer...how can u do that?

i'm not too sure...

only way i'd imagine is if u had a spare elective in ur degree where u could choose to take intro to law.

i was so disappointed cos i cant do bachelor of art/bachelor of fine arts as a double degree :(
Couldn't you do a B of arts, and major in a specific area. And then choose all free electives from the fine arts degree. Its hard cause they are two completely different degrees. Usually double / combined degrees overlap.

Edit: The B of fine arts looks better to choose electives in. Then you can sub major in what ever you like from the arts degree.

even if i choose all free electives from fine arts area, i still wont be able to properly specialise in what i wanna do and wont have a uni qualification for that specific area, right?

but at the same time, just in case art doesnt bring me a career, i wanna do the bachelor of arts for a fallback. other unis do offer that combination.

If you do the fine arts degree, you will be qualified and recognised for whatever you want to do. The degree encompasses free electives which allow you to specialise in a certain area. So say, if you were interested in arts language, then all your free electives would be from arts languages.

I don't know about other unis, it would be best to look through their handbooks.

Every degree has electives, its just people like to follow the teaching schedule, but you can take your electives whenever you want, its your choice, so say if you want to trasnfer and your in any other degree besides the one you want to be in, just enrol by handing in a prgram variation form and your done diddly done. so you can do intro to law and say you get the transfer, you dont waste your time as you get academic credit.
