Its at: www.uwssa.org.au

Check it out regularly for news, entertainment and clubs at the campus nearest you!

Its a misleading site. Most of the commercial facilities listed are in the hands of uwsconnect. The website is really the Student Associations of UWS, not UWS Students Association. THey have to work that one out.

Thanks for the link.

the girl who promoted it for us was telling us to come join her anti-howard protests and going on about how crappy the government is, introduced by a lecturer doing the same.

lol..if you have the diary, thats whats being said anyway. no biggy, last year they are like that as well. however this year they have given the whole propaganda thingy a bigger section in the diary to fill us in on 'whats going on' with the unions/associations.
thats weird, that link goes back to the same home page as the SAUWS webpage ive posted before. theyve changed the link but essentially its the same web page as before. [which means Jonathan was right when its called SAUWS and not UWSSA]

LOL

I thought it was a little stupid to wear a socialist revolution shirt - it's not the answer to our concerns at University.

Howard is simply saying Students shouldn't be forced to be apart of something that they don't want to be apart of, it's a simple Human Right in the UDHR, freedom of association. I don't want to be affiliated with a group run by socialists using my money to protest against a Government I work hard to support - to me it's very offensive.

These unions are going to run into the ground because students will now CHOOSE whether they want to support the unions. This means they will actually need to do something useful, something they can't do unless you take advantage of their women's room, which has no purpose.

You will when you open up the UWSSA diary. What fools they are putting pictures of protestors holding up banners. That's the only thing they do, so that's all they could put in there.
