Hey, i was wondering if anyone could help me with drawing vector diagrams for projectile motion questions.
When they ask questions such as 'launched a 5m/s at 60% to horizontal,' does the 5 go on the horizontal or angled part of triangle?

The 5 m/s is 60o to the horizontal, therefore it is the straight line vector drawn from a horizontal line with an angle of elevation of 60 degrees, like this, /_ where the angle inside the bent L shape is 60 degrees and the 5 m/s vector is drawn upwards to the right. Also at the end of the vector, draw an arrow head to indicate the direction of the vector. I hope that helps.
