Hey there!

woot 12-07 are awesome

umm

We are doing skrzynecki, bladerunner and I think our teacher wants to get through as much of the stimulus as possible.. lame idea.. gives us no chance to do in depth studies.
anyway in other news I am after a third related text..

I have
Tokyo - Mo Hayder (book)
Alchemy -Brett Whitely (visual)

So stuck now.. oh well..! any ideas?

rabbit proof fence...but it doesn't seem like my teacher know's what she is talking about! She keeps repeating herself about certain parts of the movie and she says the wierdest metaphors and all for the film...and the sounds she picks up are like really wrong! She does have some good points too, but she is really giving me the poos right now, especially since i just dropped down from advanced cause the teacher was just saying "do this essay" all the time with minimum teaching:(

For in class we're using:
  • "The Immigrant Chronicles" by Peter Skrynecki
  • Bladerunner (I think)
  • Journey to The Interior (AoS Booklet)
  • Blood on the Tracks (AoS Booklet)
And for my ORT's, I'll probably use:
  • Being John Malkovich (Movie)
  • Donnie Darko (Movie)
  • A Tool song (Possibly "Rosetta Stoned")
  • "The Arrival" by Shaun Tan (Pictures)
  • And I'll find a poem of some sort
