Voluntary Payments of HECKS. Does anyone do it? (2 Viewers)

I have $4000 disposable cash; should I:

  • Make a voluntary HECS payment and receive the 10% bonus payment from the govt. of $400?

pfft , why would you bother, paying for your education now, thats the "5 years from now guy's" problem, (assuming your doing a 5 year course which commenced this year :p)

honestly though, there really is no point paying it off today, the whole argument that "ohh i dont want to be in debt later" is bullshit, face it, were all going to be in debt some time or another, wheather its the future mortgage on the house or the car repayments, everyone has to accept that theres no such thing as a debt free life, in this society

and the way the economy is looking who knows what will happen down the track, i say have fun now .. worry later :D
