That's right. These people are exploiters and plunderers. They have insane wealth reserves and real power to make some changes for good in the world. I bet 'Kylie' and 'Goodrem' have never deigned to give a small tidbit to medical research, at least not before they became ill, and it is sickening to think that these people when sick are lauded as brave 'battlers' fighting this or that. If they were truly worthy they might dump the expensive cars and properties and use their (undue and unfair) wealth to improve the lives of those less fortunate.
Dude Delta aint that rich, but i get what ur saying and i sort of agree

a heading that annoyed me was "Brave Kylie Wins Fight"

now, as far as i know, Kylie's lump was detected early, was surgically removed successfully and Kylie is now on her way to a full recovery.

what about those women who have battled chemotherapy for months, who, like my grandmother, have had their breast removed because of the disease... who have suffered months of pain and uncertainty.

now, i do have sympathy for Kylie, i really do. i cannot imagine what it must be like to discover a lump in your breast and it being cancerous. but really, "Winning a Fight"??? I think the newspaper journalist responsible for that headline should think again. no offence Kylie.

The "brave Kylie" headline pissed me off as well

As does the clearing of a whole wing. She should get a room like everyone else.

Although the media should also leave her the hell alone. As should the fans while she is sick.

yes, it's exactly the same as when delta was diagnosed with her cancer. i was initially concerned and everything, but all the extended coverage makes the whole thing annoying after a while.

err.....so?

well actually, taxpayers fund those types of operations, theyre not paid for directly. so anyone who has breastcancer, rich or poor, can afford to get rid of it.

the reason why she was in a public hospital: these kind of procedures arent offered at private hospitals, theyre usually not even equipped for such things
just correcting your mistake, thats all.

Kylie is like, the only person EVER to have been diagnosed with breast cancer, you heartless bastards.
Show a little respect.

SO BASICALLY ITS STUPID TO HAVE CANCER?
No, it's stupid that there is so much media sensation and hype making her out to be the patron saint of breast cancer, when thousands and thousands of other men and women are diagnosed with it each year and don't get their own headlines.

well i didnt know she was in a private hospital...every one kep on goin on about her being in a public i assumed she was

theres no problem with them clearing a ward in a private hospital...its not as though beds are desperately needed in a private hospital, or that most patients in there actually need to be....its more likely that theyre just pensioners who decide to get a new knee cos theyre getting bored with the old ones....remind me of my grandparents actually...

Emily, regardless of what they're in for, it's the notion that money dictates how a hospital functions. I'd be pissed off if I were in hospital and had to be moved, because some bitch who prances around in camp showgirl gear, and sings like a stoned budgie wanted a ward to herself.

now let's look at the keyword, "hospital". tell me, why do hospitals exist? it works for private as well, if i was paying to be there, and had to be moved because of this clown, i would be as equally pissed off

yes but she is probably paying a helll of alot more too!!

this is not a communist country, we are not all equal. those with more money get more.

these days private hospitals are more of a luxury resort where you go to get procedures rather than hospitals as such

Yes however If you have paid your money, no one has the right to pay more money and take that away from you.
i.e. Person A buys a house for $300,000, Person B Can't just come up, kick them out and hand them $1,000,000.

I think you're a little confused,
Capitalism IS Everyone to his or her capability.
Communism IS Everyone to his or her need.
But you seem to have confused this concept into some sort of "capitalism = rich pwn teh poor".
