I dont see how you guys can assume that he bombed out intentionally. A lot of guys at my High School bombed the externals and there were a variety of reasons for that. Even if he did bomb out, the impact on everyone elses marks wouldnt be that significant. Besides, you shouldnt be relying on your classmates to pull you up anyway.

People don't bomb their HSC for no reason...there must've been an external factor.

Because he had already gotten a scholarship which didn't require his chem mark, his other internal marks were brilliant as well, he was guaranteed a 99, there was no reason for his HSC mark for chem to be in the high band 6's. I'm just saying this as a scenario, sorry if you guys really thought my mate and i assumed and honestly believed what we were saying, just something we were talking about when we were bored.
