unless you take math for life sciences then its pretty much all like that, the math that they do for first year is no different to higher math in uni which most people take if they done well in 3u.

insurance is so gonna be dead...

you shouldn't believe that... i tend to lie a lot.

although in new york and london an actuary job is seen as crap compared to other financial math jobs, sydney is about 10 years behind so yeah.
