i got back from schoolies on the 2nd
went to surfers and found it quiet good. took a while to suss out the best clubs and learnt a few tricks to getting into clubs, but all in all it was a good crowd and i felt pretty safe with the billions of police and security around.

how'd every one else find it?
what clubs did u like best?

i came on the sat, so i thought the beach parties on the sat and sun night were the best...nightclubs weren't too bad, but we spent two or three nights in having room parties which were equally as good. too bad it's over.

Just how i expected it to be.. just like every other weekend, but longer, more expensive, and 56 floors higher above sea level. Not worth the money tbh.

i was shafted in terms of room buddies, so i always found it shit getting back to the place we stayed. on main beach. you actually see a 'welcome to surfers paradise' sign on the way in.

but yeah i thought it was alright enough, except the conn-x-ion people screwed us over going both ways

on the way there, he dropped us 5km from where we were staying and told us to walk

on the way back, the conn-x-ion people never came

SUCH trouble to sort out in terms of getting there and back. but we managed. this included getting a lift with some dodgy pub crawl guys =D

oh yeah and visitor curfews really sucked.

the fucking con x ion ppl screwed us over too. It was pure luck that we managed to get to the airport in time for our return flight. Other than that it was good except they need to do more stuff for under 18s cos my whole room was 17 and had nothing to do. got pissed in our hotel room every night then went for wanders on the beach.

Schoolies was f ing awsome, i arrived the last day of QLD schoolies so experienced the beach party which was sweet, though the NSW week was better, minus the stupid pub crawl thing, that ate ass..... all up QLD is definately the place to be for schoolies i strongly advise, although was a bit packed

went on plan b wednesday night.
worth every penny as we were able to get in practically all the clubs at surfers for free the whole week.
apparently you can still use the cards for another year.
beach parties were great if you werent dancing on heaps warm sand.
schoolies was beyond expectations, probably due to the close proximity of my hotel (the islander) to cavill.
