The best piece of advice you can get on this forum - don't post in that God-awful colour.

Hello guys.

My name is Ryan, and I'm doing HSC at Tafe.

Actually I was in HSC in 2002, but I made a foolish mistake by wasting a year of my life, but now I'm back at Tafe, and I feel that in the 5 months doing the HSC I've accomplished more then I did in 5 years at high school.

At this point in time, stress is kicking in, but it'll all be over in November.

My subjects are in my sig, and I've done pretty good so far. Alot better then I did in High school anyway.

Speaking of which, I have my 2nd maths exam on Tuesday. Not looking forward to that. Argggghhhhh

3 in the first week back? What subjects are they for? I've got 3 or 4 this week then four weeks of holidays before back to school. Only other things to worry about besides trials after this week are all my music assessments.

Dear Year 12,

Welcome to term 3. This term has got to be the most important term ever as your outcome of this year depends heavily on term 3. You've come a long way- 13 years or so.

FUN
It sure is a stressful time, but can be a fun one. Come on! It's the last term of school ever! Dont waste these precious few weeks. I know that graduation, formals, parties etc will pull you away from study. Yes! They are fun! Please don't forget that you still have the HSC to do.

YOUR FUTURE
After your trials, it is best to take a bit of time to think about your uni. courses.
Do see your careers advisor if you want to. Talk to your teacher, go to the uni open days and visit their websites. Find out more about the uni/course you want to get into.
I recommend you going to at least 2 unis. Do go and see where your future could potentially lie.

http://www.unsw.edu.au/ UNSW
http://www.handbook.unsw.edu.au/ UNSW's online handbook
http://www.eng.unsw.edu.au/multiplec...2005/index.htm UNSW's engineering multiple criteria entry online questionnaire
http://www.uts.edu.au/ UTS
http://www.usyd.edu.au/ USYD
http://www.nd.edu.au/ Uni of Notre Dame
http://www.mq.edu.au/ Macquarie Uni
http://www.uws.edu.au/ UWS
http://www.uow.edu.au/ UOW

I can tell you that going to uni open days will be a real eye-opener and give you a clearer direction of your career path.

STRESS RELIEF
Do get good sleep and food- you'll be energised!

Do talk to someone if you have problems. It'll give you much needed relief.

I'd like you all to not be stressed and to enjoy term 3!

Good luck to all!

3 months... Can't even believe it.

This term is going to fly. Been 2 weeks already, after exams that's pretty much halfway through the term.

Holy crap.

*panics slightly*
Trials are in a week...I got back to school, thought 'oh yeah, I've got five weeks to sort myself out'. AND NOW IT'S A WEEK AWAY!
I've done a fair bit of work for it, I'm not one to save everything before the night of the trials, but there still seems to be so much to study.
*walks away mumbling to oneself about how she can't even think about a social life with all that information cramming her brian*
