omg there are other people in the universe doing Citizen Kane too! Yay! At first I found it hard to adjust too but now I'm beginning to totally love it.

What readings is every1 doing for it?

I have the hardest endlish assignment on CK

"You are to write to the editor of the magazine "Cinema today", you are to write a detailed letter as to why Ck is considered "the greatest achievement in the history of film"

In your letter discuss in an integrated manner
The values explored within the film
The cinematic techniques used
The importance of the context of the film
Some of the critical approaches to the movie

How hard is that...
neways any help will me greatly appreciated..

erm, that's a pretty easy question. compared to questions i've seen anyway.

The values explored within the film
The cinematic techniques used
The importance of the context of the film
Some of the critical approaches to the movie

yer but considering that..
The values explored in the film...
for example materialism, Oedipus complex, etc... thats kinda easy
Techniques come along with that easy...
then how does one integrate context and critics... regarding such issues
