Im struggling to work out which archaeologists worked in Pompeii and which worked in Herculaneum.
Any help appreciated

Mauri completed the Villa of Mysteries at HercKarl Weber was a prominent archaeologist at Herulanuem, I think he was in the 1700s....OR perhaps I'm just so over Ancient that I just get everything wrong..

Sarah Bisel did work on the skeletons in the boat shed in Herculaneum.

Talk about Sara Bisel but criticise her tons:*she gave names like "the soldier" and stuff, made up biographies for people with basically no evidence*she was working for nat geo, ie. had to make stuff interesting -posed with a skull*never published scientific findingsJust basically say her findings are unreliable.Talk about Luigi Capasso too, he's actually a credible source
