Studies of Religion II is my worst subject and I can't drop if because I won't have enough units.

So my only choice now is to keep working hard on it to avoid getting scaled down at the least.

For those who are experienced in it or have done this course, how do you study for it? The details in the textbook are very limited and don't seem adequate for extended responses.

Do you write dot point notes or do practice essays?

first of all i make a chapter summary or a timeline in my own words and then i re-summarise that into dot points

that way i have a thorough understanding through my first lot of long writing then a shorter summary to just jog my memory - then before an exam i read both lots of notes and make one more even briefer lot

for extended responses i suggest writing it like an essay, you have a few good points where you chuck in any piece of information that may relate to that paragraphs point

i dont think its necessary to really practice essays as long as you know the structure and the dot-points as an essay is rlly just elaborating on them

sorri if my thoughts are a bit jumbled :)
