I guess no one has replied because no one either knows OR they don't want to give away their good idea.

Do what the Beatles did. Pick up a newspaper and write something that links 3 different news stories ("Day in the life").

I'm doing mine in the Fantasy genre.
It's an allegory for terrorism and also to do with concepts similar to the Spanish inquisition :D
I've written a draft of the first two A4 pages. Good fun so far.

I'm going with the belonging theme, doing a kind of 3-in-1 story? Cultural belonging and alienation and whatnot (specifically Chilean as the culture).
It makes sense to me though, but not so much to others when I explain it:p

I'm doing like 6 short stories rolled into one.
It's sort of about grief/depression, and how it affects different people differently.
It's better than it sounds, trust me :uhhuh:

Doing a story about executions in WWI.

Modern has influenced me pretty significantly in that.

Doing different perspectives of it, ie, the soldier to be executed, the executioner, people at home.

Lots and lots of things to read, so much information :)
