And so far the only goal I have is to not flunk the HSC. As for what I do when I leave school? The things I thought I might be interested in and investigated fell quite short of expectations and now I have no idea

I did want to study Mechatronics, but have no serious interest in the subject! so I would like to study Civil Engineering (structural) at The University of Sydney or The University of Technology. I hope I get to where I am aiming, cant see why i wouldnt if i work hard and get the marks, required for entry.

Not at all. The Architect is the creativity behined a structure, while on the other hand, the Engineer is the brains behined its mechanics. So we will both need to work together to accomplish a certain project... that means no arguments lol

Where would you like to study Architecture?

Well, i don't know much about the differences of the faculties at the universities. I'm just hoping to get into uni at the moment but the BArch program at UNSW would be awesome.

When i did work experience with an architect last year, the engineering aspect to his work really put me off. I didn't interpret anything so i assumed it was a way more difficult profession.

I know what you mean! I was studying a little engineering from basic books in the library the other morning and could not catch on due to the level of mathematics involved. I'll eventually get there though!


Yep, UNSW would be great to study Architecture, UTS also offers a Recornised Architecture program which would be worth looking into.

Our classroom for D&T is the same as the engineering one and usually when there's engo stuff left on the blackboard i just take advantage of the bludge period, that is D&T, and try to put together some engineering knowledge. :rofl:
I really like the geometries side to it.

Which uni doesn't bother me at the moment. It's just getting into a course for now. You're going through TAFE first then uni?
