What audio player and CD ripper do you use on your PC? (1 Viewer)

I'm on a different compy (Windows XP) and WMP is slow as sludge and eats up my resources Can't for the life of me remember what ripper I used, but I usually listen to 192kbps, but choice to rip to VBR user-friendly would be good too (if such a thing exists).

Winamp also got a bit dull, looking to try something a bit more lightweight. Though a plugin that helps sync with my iPod is essential, I don't like iTunes at all.

Why wouldn't you use iTunes if you have an iPod?

I use ExactAudioCopy - it took a bit of setting up to be able to do VBR/FLAC rips but it does 192kbps mp3 rips by default. Still, it wasn't that hard to set up with a guide.

I did for a while, but it was quite slow and cumbersome, the winamp plug in worked a lot better.
