Pretty self-explanatory topic. It will interesting to hear the record for most clubs joined though:rolleyes:
I myself joined 6, mostly more obscure and Nerdy ones though:
- Tolkien society (Free Lembas!!;))
- Sutekh (Free Wizz Fizz!)
- Gaius Gracchus (Free Rubber Thunderbolt of DOOM!!!)
- German Kultur Klub (Free German chocolate. Actually i think it was Swedish:p)
- Archaeology society
- Sydney Uni Rover Crew (Probably the poorest pulicity on any stall. There was just one guy by himself with a couple of photos. So let this itself be a little publicty from me. Rovers really is great fun, whether you're into outdoor stuff or not.)

Anyway thats my two cents. What clubs did everyone else join...

Chinese thingy, German Kultur Klub, SUPA, e-Campus.

I don't think I'd participate much in anything except SUPA.

Oh dear, my friends are gonna give me grief over this... I joined the Cheerleading Squad. Already one of my UWS friends is having a hoot about it ("OMG, Miss Feminist is a cheerleader!!!! AHAHAHAHAHA!"). It's got no obligations... I can't cartwheel to save my life but I do dance, so I guess I should be fine. If after the first training session I don't do well I could always quit I suppose.

Also wanted to join the Darcy Society, Gaius Gracchus and the Tolkien Society... but I didn't have any cash on me at the time so I couldn't really join. So yeah... I'll turn up on Friday and sign up! Should be fun... free lembas and lots of Mr. Darcy... sigh.

I joined too many.
*Greens On Campus
*Amnesty International
*SU Anime
*Chopsticks
*SUMSA

I think I joined more. I seriously cannot remember.

EDIT: I remember.
*ComSoc
*Socialist Alternative (!)
*Turkish Students Society...
*Media and Communications Society (for journalism)
*Fine Arts Society

The ComSoc and Chopsticks show- bags were by far the best.

SUTEKH is $5. But you get cheaper kinokuniya discount card (same as if you were renewing one) a 10% voucher off for dymocks sydney (although there arent too many left), a number of other discounts, and we also hold alot more events then most others.

By "USU Representative", we mean "Rose Jackson and Sam Crosby", immediate past presidents of the Union and SRC, and I wasn't "told off" as much as "led away by security". Of course, Security support the ISA, and they put me into a location both outside the Union jurisdiction and with far higher traffic than the actual O-week stalls.
