i dont think it's in syllabus...but then again you might be asking just out of curiosity- in that case i dont know...sorry!

Solar flares being released from the Sub (sunspots etc) constitute it. In periods of high solar wind (every few years when the sunspots emit more radiation) there is the potential for electrical & telecommunication interference to occur on Earth.
