If i wanted to study geology, what course should I apply for, and if i wanted to go into the field of vulcanology, what course(s) should i do???

As geology is a science unit, your best bet would be to take a BSc at a uni that offers geology.

Usyd offers geology as a first year subject in Bsc or B adv sc. my friend does it, and she quite enjoys it.

umm..whatever the science UAI is, i think its low 80's, not sure though, check the website or uac guide.

I have no chance of getting that ... i think that i will stick to tourism at UWS.

UWS may offer Geology (and if not then they would offer geography, and most geography departments seem to offer physical, environmental and human streams, so you could always try that path).

Edit: UWS doesn't seem to offer Geography or Geology as a unit of study... I know that Geography related units are taught at UWS, but looking at the university's course listing... Wollongong, as White Rabbit posted, is always an option.
